Got 202?
Be on the look out for suite of tools with the “202″ brand that are growing in popularity in the affiliate marketing world. These tools include:
Tracking202 - A hosted, but free keyword conversion tracking software.
Prosper202 - The same as Tracking202, yet self-hosted (if you hosted tools aren’t your thing)
Export202 - A cool online utility to quickly convert PPC campaigns from one search engine to another.
WorldProxy202 - A proxy tool designed for marketers who want to promote international campaigns. WorldProxy202 makes it possible to see campaigns that your affiliate network might normally block from your country.
I’ve mentioned some of these tools a few times in other posts. Being that this entire suite of tools is free, as well as the support, I thought I’d help alleviate some of the questions the Tracking202 team gets and starts some posts with 202 tutorials.
For example, people new to 202 tools seem to ask the same questions again and again (without reading the forum), so I may do some in depth walkthroughs documenting some common questions, or perhaps some of the more technical challenges people may face.
The 202 tools can be used in many different ways, and made to work with a number of different third party software tools. So in time I hope to cover as many tutorials as I can. I’ll probably do written posts for the simpler explanations, but anything that might be heavily in depth, may call for a Camtasia video.
Without going into each tool too much at this point, use the links above to start checking out these tools yourself. If you’re already a 202 user and looking for some new trick or method, have a look at a recent Wordpress tutorial by Nickycakes: “Tracking Wordpress Landing Pages With Prosper202”
Stay tuned for the tutorials, I promise they’ll be good. In the mean time, if you have any questions about anything 202 related that you can’t find it their forum, you’re welcome to ask me and I’ll find out for you.
